Thread regarding DST Systems Inc. layoffs

If you post something about working at DST, please mention the division or location, or at least which country or state you work(ed) in. DST is SO HUGE! What is true for one location may not be for another. So much of your quality of work life has to do with your direct supervisor/manager/division. I'm lucky that despite all the BS above my manager, my manager and supervisor really try to make my coworkers and I feel valued. The executive level really couldn't care any less about us than they do now. It's always "do more with less". My team really tries to do a good job, but more and more, we feel that we're just being set up to fail. Which is pretty awful itself, but most of us have been with the company 10+ years and are over 40. We feel like we're targeted for the next reduction in force.
