The new and/or "random" drug test is a systematic approach to "weed out" employees don't like. There is NOTHING random about these tests. Don't let anyone fool you.

I'm tripping balls on acid right now, just sniffed a fat rail of coke, and doing mushrooms on saturday night. I have nothing to worry about!!! Also getting together with some ragers I met at Burning Man for some DMT on Wednesday. I will ask my spirit animal when they think CHK will reduce workforce!! Have a Shaman coming in from New Mexico over labor day weekend and we are going to fry on mescaline for about 17 hours.
Randoms for safety sensitive positions (field & people who drive fleet vehicles) is acceptable. Anything more is a clear attempt to "weed" out people they either don't like or people that make too much $$.
CHK has demonstrated recently that they are not employee-focused anymore. I get the need for cutbacks, but morale is in the pooper. So glad I got out right before it started getting bad.
This has nothing to do with weeding out campus employees for layoffs. It is to save money on liability insurance.
Please, everyone, pause to take a moment and THANK the STX BU for footing the bill so we can afford to pay for these drug tests for unnecessary campus employees!
I say instead of drug tests they give grammar tests and if you don't pass you get fired.
I Say !!!test them all, weed out the drugies then get rid of all the over paid ass wholes. That don't damn thing all day !!But work out ,drink coffee and spend a hour in the Restaurants ....
If they test for pancakes, I'm screwed.
