Thread regarding Bridgepoint Education Inc. layoffs

Bridgepoint Education continues its downard spiral. BPI is a mess!

Andrew Clark continues to make misstatements about the health of the company. you will all want to read the article that just came out from an Analyst at Seeking Alpha.

The only thing i disagree with in this article is them telling people to buy the stock. Hard to explain that ....as the stock dropped today to 7.99 a share. That is the lowest it has Ever been. Here is the link http://seekingalpha.com/article/3447956-bridgepoint-education-is-still-a-mess-but-still-a-buy

Or just google Bridgepoint education and the article is currently the 4th one down the 1st page.

Bridgepoint employees should be running out the doors as quickly as you can. Share this story with anyone you know at Bridgepoint, University of the Rockies and Ashford University.

As i have said before,I think you will see them close the On ground campus of the University of the Rockies in Denver within the next 12 months as it continues to be a drain on their profits. Bridgepoint will probably be around in some form as they have $350mil. in the bank but cant seem to figure out what to do with it. I'm sure the stockholders are getting pretty pissed off about the condition of the stock. For profit education as a whole is not doing very well with the exception of a couple of companies.

Bridgepoint has not been run well since the beginning and now the lack of real leadership is showing. You all have to remember that the current senior leadership had never run a company prior to owning Bridgepoint. it got to big to fast and they didn't know how to handle that. Now that they are in trouble the are running around with chickens with the heads cut off.

They may survive as a much smaller company, but it will never be what it once was as there is too much competition and too many govt. regulations now. I think you will see their operations in Denver (call centers, etc.) continue to shrink as well. I have heard that their San Diego operations have downsized as well.

With no physical presence, all that's left is a failure factory. How long can that go on?
