Walgreens has been reducing staff for the last 8 years every year. It's all about making the shareholders happy. They will continue to cut!

I was part of the Purchasing Dept. layoffs in October, 2011 after 25 years with the company. With this latest round of layoffs, no one that I worked with in the Advertising, Marketing, Purchasing or IT depts. will remain.
