What is the package?

Haven't heard or seen from any post exactly what the severance package will be in the U.S.

Someone who has seen it please post. Thx

what if you dont have balls? like..what if you lost them during your tenure at shell? will they find them for you? and then send you out with your new found balls - shiny and unused? or maybe you werent born with them. (so if you get them in a ziplog bag it will be bonus) or Maybe its Maybeline.

Thank you Anonymous139205!!! This is super shade! Is it even fair? Legal? I actually got a .8 first year (December hire) and a 1.0 the next. I was forced to take the package. No MOR option. Looking at the other threads on this site; maybe it's because I'm brown. LOL.

This is absolutely not about LOW performance. All JG5 and Gs are being cut for an IPF 1.0 or below. The first year u receive the automatic 0.9. Next year you receive 1.0, averaged out it's impossible to not be below the needed 1.0. Plus what happens if u have been there less than 3 years?? How do u get the third number??? So at the end of the day, no matter how good u are/were ur getting cut.

Guys stop saying that employees are getting cut for low performance. This is NOT the case in every situation!!! There are employees being asked to take the option of severance. I was asked and declined! I'll take my chances. But to think that this is a low performance issue is ignorant. Besides IPFs are absolutely subjective and has nothing to do with performance. TRUST ME I KNOW! I know people that have been cut with high performance working in a poor performing business. I also know people who took the money and ran. Shell just doesn't want you to take a huge payout then return (with a huge signing bonus) when oil comes back. Ha, you could actually make a damn good living doing this every cycle.

How is "Laid off this week" being messy? Someone asked a valid question. I thought this is what an anonymous board was for. If you look at the other boards they clearly spell out the details. I didn't know the details but now I know in case I'm ever forced to make a decision. I'm ready to retire anyways. LOL.

It doesn't look good to the general public AND they just paid you a hefty sum to leave for "low performance".

What is the reason behind keeping someone from ever returning?

There are different packages but the main one is 3 weeks for every year worked with a minimum of 12 weeks. They also pay out unused vacation and may even extend your medical coverage for a few months. You are also barred from ever returning.

Does it really matter? You really sound like someone being messy.
