Excited about transferring over to Noble

This is the absolute best thing that could happen to me and all the ROSE employees. Finally, a company that understands finance. This reverse engineering into "a number" had to stop. The team that evaluated the Permian acquisition was send back to the drawing board multiple times until they got the "number" the CEO wanted to do the deal. The number was 2 X too high but the deal was done. It might have been OK if oil would have went to $200/bbl. Then the company was loaded up with debt to pay for it all. On top of that secondary equity offerings were made to keep the company alive for a little while. The company was being run into the ground and the top brass where making a killing doing it. I am sure Noble will not be perfect. Noble just has to be not stupid financially. Any Rosetta employee not welcoming this change is an idiot

idk what Noble has to offer or what the minuses will be. I was looking for a change when oil prices collapsed and finding the position I wanted became more difficult. Noble is my white knight for good or bad. I am not one to bad mouth a current or former employer but ask anyone who has worked at Rosetta for more than 1 year, it was difficult place to work. Boundaries were tested when they should not have been. I can't believe there could be a worse place to work in this industry for many reasons. despite the longer commute I will gladly move on to greener pastures

Dude, it is all relative Don't know what life as a Noble employee will be like. But, speaking on behalf of all of us at Rosetta, it can only be better. Most here know bankruptcy was looming, It was grim. Just thankful that Noble came along and am willing to do my part to make Noble better

I like the "glass half full" attitude. It appears that Rosetta was headed to bankruptcy. I think the point is you could have found a much better suitor than Noble. They are not "strong" in any measure. Their performance has been below average for quite sometime.... bottom 1/3rd of the pier group. But yes probably better than bankruptcy if you are a Rosetta employee.

good luck to you - finally somebody with a healthy attitude. bottom line is that with the oil price pullback only the strong energy companies will survive. Noble is strong and is a buyer of assets instead on having to scramble to find a buyer for it. Rosetta was weak and those that embrace Noble will win in the long run
