the course of several months .....that will be unbearable to keep waiting and wondering will i go? Will go with a package ? will i go on a questionable PIP with nothing?
Questions questions questions and nothing but worries at this point .
PLEASE QUALCOMM do the right thing and don't prolong the suspense for the employees over the course of months.

That has been my fear is well that it would trying out till 2017. It looks like they're moving pretty quick though. I can tell you, once you get the GTFO there is a weight lifted off your shoulders. It happened to me. It was about four months ago though. The first couple weeks are great. Then reality sets in and you have to start worrying about bills again. Luckily I was able to find another job. I certainly didn't use any of the management at QUALCOMM for references. The sooner the better really because the job market will become saturated. If you haven't started looking now as sort of a parachute. I'd recommend you get your resume out on dice right now
