Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

The Layoff.com can make a fortune selling usage statistics to the companies, especially when it comes time to laying off people

This website would be the perfect big data gatherer for an employer, in determining the low performing employees that spend more time on this blog versus working. I'm thinking the perfect business model would be to offer businesses a subscription based service, similiar to LinkedIn paid accounts for companies. In return for a paid subscription, this website would provide metric data on the poster's ip addresses and frequency/duration of page views and posts that each user from that target company spends on this blog. This information would be vital to determining who really can be cut when there's a need to cut.

People who keep up on their companies news and don't want to be laid off are the ones they want to get rid of, right?!

I post from my cell phone, my IP address is shared with probably 300K users connected to the backbone via my providers network. OK, how useful is that info?

But fortunately, this blog is anonymous. It's not like they are collecting ip addresses in their server logs....Oh wait.....
