Don't get me wrong, as there have been a number of FTFs and PLs let go last week who deserve more empathy (as they've lost a fulk-time job and benefits to care for their families), but this term I surprisingly received no classes after receiving a mass email from my PD that several of us should have one loaded to eCollege yesterday. I even made sure to promptly complete that silly ethics training. As a woman, I hate to call the sexist card without grounds, but I know of a nale adjunct who received classes and had worse evals (but who was friends with our former PL). This screams foul play!

I believe 020 was saying that the projected numbers were inflated compared to the actual new starts.

@115020: This is the OP, and I'm unclear what you mean by bloated numbers, and more drama to deal with. What are you talking about?
Is your pd one of the new deans? Anyhow #s are far lower than they anticipated. All the Kings "yes men" were giving bloated #s. Now there is more drama to deal with.
