Yes the directors and up disappear for a 3 day summit. Last time the RIF happened it was highest paid, and oldest because of cost. Then there are some managers like Sri who doesn't have any credentials and bromancing all the higher ups to survive, stabbing everyone in the back along the way.

They asked us to update our careerpath or whatever it's called earlier in the year. Including whether or not you'd be open to relocate.
They don't need to go around asking. It's all on file. No indicators besides the fact business being lackluster. It's been pretty evident it was gonna happen sooner or later.
