RE: A message from EUO Leadership

We’ve been on board for just over a month and are energized by your dedication to serving our students. We have many opportunities ahead of us that will bring positive outcomes for Everest University Online (EUO) – opportunities that will help our students from their first day in admissions through to their first day on the job. But before we can move forward, we had to make some decisions to prepare us for the future.

These include streamlining some processes, reducing management layers and bureaucracy and looking at ways to bring our leaders closer to the work for which they are accountable. In addition, we continue to align the size of our organization with our current student population. As a result, we announced a workforce reduction today. A reduction-in-force is never a decision we make lightly, however, these actions were necessary for us to move forward. Impacted employees were notified today and will receive the benefits and pay to which they are entitled. They have our sincere gratitude for their contributions.

Our next step is strengthening EUO – both from an academic and operational perspective. We will be introducing to you new models of online learning to drive an enhanced student experience. These models have proven effective in higher education, and as a leadership team, we have experienced their success firsthand. We will share more details about our plans in the upcoming weeks.

These new ways of doing business, as well as revitalized programs, new offerings, and a cultural transformation, will drive our success. Once you learn more, we know you will be as enthusiastic about the future as we are.

This email looks like the ones we got from these two at ECP(Everest College Phoenix - Phoenix, Mesa while smiling and shaking your hand. He's another Hawn from what I have read here about Hawn. Waite will tell you all about how he saved DeVry when he worked there. So, why did he leave??? He is just there to make his fortune and really doesn't care about the employees; unless you are a true butt kisser or a good looking woman who is willing to flirt with him for his ego. They make a lot of promises that are never kept. You will hear about the "Mayo Model" and how it will take the school/company to the next level. Dr. J is in Jack Mass's pocket. He was hand picked by Jack Mass to run ECP...into the ground. All the long term; good management employees of ECP, were let go on the same day by these two to bring in unethical number hungry replacements. SMOKE SCREENS are a way of life with these two. Best to look for other employment before you get the last minute notice that you have been let go, like the hundred+ employees of ECP!

It sounds like Corinthian Colleges all over again. Get rid of the worker bees to make room for more top executives. How many instructors were terminated to make room for these idiots? They have been onboard ammonth and have already RIFed a bunch of people. Are they are are hatchet men. Big pay and bonuses for cutting staff. Yeah, I'm excited about the future. How about the rest of you?

855, so you will continue to wait hoping for a miracle. A lot of people waited hoping just like you and were called in and told they were no longer needed. How many heard the same propaganda from CCi and Dave Hawn over the last few years. It's with sadness that I am sending out this message to inform you that today we had to reduce our workforce. I want to thank blah blah blah blah blah. This action will make us stronger and be able to better serve our students. Blah blah blah blah blah blah. How many times did Jack send this out? How many times has Dave the "Hit Man" Hawn sent it? The next time he sends it you may not get it because you were one of those left go.

I think they will turn it around. There are new commercials. A better marketing plan. And new initiatives. It always takes a while to turn things around.

These guys will quit after they find out that ECMC has no intention of having EUO continue as a viable company. They will leave just like Troy did when he found out the truth.

There is no intention of "strengthening EUO". The plan from the beginning was to slowly have students drop out and dwindle enrollment below 6,000 at which point, operations will be shut down and the federal government will be forced to forgive the remaining students loans. Those poor suckers who drop out or leave before the closing will be stuck repaying their student loans for a useless education.

The same type of email went out to the ground schools after the last RIF. Funny thing is the enrollment numbers and the student population continues to decrease. The RIFs will continue at all campuses until there is no one left.

These people are in a cloud, what they do not realize is the population they are targeting for online, are not capable of completing an online course. Most Colleges are struggling with Online courses, unless the students are in higher education. This problem is accross the board. Too bad, they are such INCOMPETENTS!
