They claim to be there for students but their behaviors show otherwise, they have done everything they can to screw students day and night in defense of parasitic companies like ITT Tech. -- http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/07/02/arne-duncan-corinthian-thrilled_n_7715366.html

@Anonymous113309, it will take a lot of work from many people to get through all of this corruption. It would be great if there were an unexpected tipping point where enough politicians feel obligated to do the right thing, but that appears far away. People don't even remember "Occupy" and that was not even 4 years ago.
So you're saying the government of the United States at this point is so corrupt there is no legal or peaceful way to bring about reform?
Bernie Sanders can't talk about it in depth for many reasons, including the fact that Senator Dianne Feinstein's husband (Richard Blum) is one of the worst of the predators. He'd never hear the end of it....................http://www.dailycensored.com/more-on-for-profit-college-sludge-and-richard-blum-who-funds-the-brookings-institute/
What about someone like Bernie Sanders including it as a core part of his platform and making this known? Unfortunately it seems election time is the only leverage young people have on forcing this issue out into the open otherwise all parties seem content to sweep it back under the rug and let it fester another 4 more years. Millions of lives are being destroyed which hurts not only them but all of America by wasting their potential.
@Anonymous113005, I'm saying that the system is rigged in favor of the Republican and Democratic elites. But it's possible that Vin Weber (a major Republican political operative) and Richard Blum (a significant Democratic political operative, especially in California) could face more scrutiny if enough people learn the story and demand answers. The media get lots of money from for-profit advertising and that makes them less motivated to tell the full story. After journalist Peter Byrne decided not to follow up on Richard Blum's questionable behavior with ESI and CECO, I contacted several people. Blum Capital spokespeople refuse to talk. Vin Weber may be working for Jeb Bush, so the Democrats could bring this up--but the Clintons were tied up with the global predator Laureate Education, the largets for-profit in the US (ahead of Apollo Group), so Democrats may be too afraid to bring up anything. Al Sharpton also has ties to University of Phoenix. And House Speaker John Boehner was a key figure in making this mess as large as it is.
CK - You say that a lot lately, are you against those guys or in awe of them? You seem to know a lot of the ins and outs and have a unique perspective so how would you say the best way to expose the indecent relationship between these guys and the department of education could be done? Or are you saying the department of education and congress are so corrupt at this point that we shouldn't even try?
@Anonymous112927, if they want real justice, they should also go for the executives who preceded Kevin Modany (e.g. Rene Champagne) as well as Vin Weber and Richard Blum.....................http://www.topix.com/forum/com/esi/TTSA30ADR01M0L167..................................http://articles.latimes.com/2010/jul/14/business/la-fi-hiltzik-column-20100714
The sooner this fraud closes the better for all taxpayers. The government needs to also press criminal charges against Kevin, Geene and Barry. Jail time will be good for all three of them.
The searing light of day is the only thing that gets rid of cockroaches.
At this point, no one in the mainstream media will touch this. One writer, Peter Byrne, wrote about Richard Blum (Dianne Feinstein's husband) and apparently his editors were threated. Both Weber and Blum have lots of power................. http://www.dailycensored.com/more-on-for-profit-college-sludge-and-richard-blum-who-funds-the-brookings-institute/...................................http://www.berkeleydailyplanet.com/issue/2010-06-22/article/35661?headline=Billion-Dollar-Baby-br-The-University-of-California-invests-53-million-in-two-diploma-mills-owned-by-a-regent
Lets change that then?
Arne Duncan and Ted Mitchell have both been complict. And so are Vin Weber and Richard Blum, who get no mainstream media attention about their interests in ESI.
