All PLs were laid off today. Not even willing to keep the ones who were good teachers, but were forced to do what the PDs said. Also, only 25 FTFs were kept.

Yes, we were laid off before the end of the term, but have to stay on through Friday, June 10th. Therefore, we know we are done, but still need to get final grades out, etc.

If it was like the RIF in April, no one at campus level had any control over who was let go. It was all done at the corporate level and a list of the names to be let go was emailed to the campus. Zenith is a ruthless company with no respect or compassion for it's employees. Most respectable companies consider an employees capabilities and length of service when a reduction in force is implemented. At least you would have a choice of bumping someone lower in seniority or taking the layoff. Your letter will have the words, "YOU HAVE NO BUMPING RIGHTS AND NO BUMPING RIGHTS EXIST". That should tell everyone what kind of company they work for. YOU DON'T MEAN SHIT TO THEM.
