So tired of that term being used......to me improving the student experience is ensuring a student doesn't graduate both before and after fellow grads that are not skilled or proficient with their ability in the field. As a former WyoTech employee it bothered me greatly so I can only assume how demeaning, embarrassing and defeating it was to some/most of my former students. The only way to increase enrollment is A) put out a quality product and B) allow leaders/individuals in the field be your best enrollment generator! It takes time that is measured in years. Unfortunately being overly profitable took priority rather than being only slightly profitable until time passed to allow good grads to be your best form of advertising which would generate substantial profit.

1793 you missed my point.....in no way can a comparison made with ZEG and those cruel figures (I wold be so utterly asinine by doing such in the way you think I am). What I am saying is some of those people rose to power because they were able to inspire, pacify, and make people not see what was happening because of there charismatic words they used. Those words made others think and feel that good, sound decisions were being made. Words were the inspiration as it causing hundreds not to see the path they were heading down. I am saying that ZEG (and CCi) in a way have done the same. I want employees of ZEG not be mindless lemmings and reverse direction (or ask "what are we doing?"). Just telling people to "fight the fight" and "I am asking you to work harder with less resources but I know you are up for challenge" garbage has a time and place when the end is a shared desire....a shared desire that employees and leaders want. Leaders want more money & fat salaries while employees want to change students lives for the better. Obviously there are exceptions here but generally speaking I question ZEGs end goal.
you cannot be serious. Comparing ZEG to dictators like Stalin, Mussolini, Tojo, Hitler, Castro, Milosevic, Kim Jong Il? ZEG will get away with anything they choose because they have leveraged democracy to do so - they don't have to force anyone to believe or comply. The sheeple will follow the money allocated by elected officials to indenture themselves (and taxpayers) to the state. Think about that this weekend.
No disagreement here 1218 just wanted some legit confirmation. I am so surprised that some people (current workers) can't see what is happening. Not to be all doom and gloom but a realist, many of the Zenith owned schools won't be open in 2016. It's the systematic, quiet closing of schools that the DOE couldn't expedite or pull the trigger on doing without mass strikes and protest.....more importantly large expenses. It's amazing how optimistic words disguise true intentions. Infamous dictators/leaders have been doing it for centuries and some think it can't happen in the 21st century but it is and can.
WyoTech ceased being primarily a school some time ago in favor of being a Title IV fund money laundering vehicle. Quality education does not contribute to that mission, it only adds annoying expense. The current trend will continue until the student population decreases to the level that teach outs are required, at which point DOE is off the hook for large numbers of loan to forgive. It's all part of a well-thought out plan. If you disagree, please post three solid facts that point toward Zenith taking substantial action to increase enrollment or improve the quality of the product.
What no other opinions or thoughts on this? Continually talking to graduating class instructors only a few were good techs......out of 25+ that's a terrible %
