LOL LOL Management can bring an independent contractor for "CIO"
If any one is forced to work more than 40 hours and no overtime is paid, SUE the management .

Management can bring an independent contractor for "CIO" , VP positions instead of having an employee, if that is successful then we can bring in a consultant or contractor for CEO's position toooooooooooo
136672- what teams are all these consultants on? Because from where I'm sitting, you have consultants on Optimus, and some doing various IT strategy work. Some others sprinkled here and there; The rest are independent contractors. I agree with you that some of the managers need to be replaced. But you can't just speak in generalities. Where specifically are the problems that you're experiencing?
And what team are you on where you're working 80+ hours per week? That seems a little extreme.
If you are on top management, simply take the count, compare the Employees VS Consultants, ask a simple question why some of the consultants are paid $ 150 - $180 per hour for more than 6 years now and whether Cameron Employees lack the Efficiency or the Team couldn't find a right employee for that position, something is wrong somewhere. Consultants work 4 days a week, Air Fare, Hotel Fare, Training, Food paid and fun allowances for the last several years, drained the treasury and now Cost Cutting where, Employees Coffee cups, plates, spoons, sugar, napkins, luckily management is not charging the employees for using the restroom yet, might be in the next townhall meeting they will announce it, what is cost cutting and cost reduction? What is RIF? they all impact ONLY Employees. Why? Why? Why? Why? Employees have Family, Employees might be sick, employee kids might be sick, so one day they ask to work from home NOPE NOPE NOPE take a day off ruthless and mercyless HR RULE, on the same note Consultants can come any time, go any time NO questions asked, what they are working, what they are delivering, why they are in that role, even god will fumble to answer that question. Management should talk to the grass root workers to understand the issues and simply sweeping townhall meetings and conclave room discussions will never help. IT Employees are SLAVES of Cameron, that's the pitty, there are many great eligible managers are there but few in the pot making the whole lot rotten. Management should wakeup and give proper respect to the TRUE Employees who believe the management badly just to support their family and their kids, now management is keeping every IT employee in a panic situation and everyone joined the company trusting to deliver both to the business and family and unfortunately they couldn't, what they will do??? If the consultants can work remote why not an employee? Whether the employees are not Trustworthy? If a consultant can get trained on Cameron $$$ and work, why not an employee? Whether the employee is not knowledgeable?

136410 - This is what needs to be fixed. Cameron is a relationship-driven, family-oriented, customer focused organization.
Who said Cameron is Family oriented? The roll offs have impacted only the employees, high paid (manager friends) CONSULTANTS are still doing the same **. Employees are forced to work more than 80 hours consultants just come 4 days a week as other post said, there are so many issues IT folks are facing do you know, whether the new CIO is aware, she simply talks in the town hall meeting,. No chances are given to employees in a project only the consultants have more attention, they are been trained using cameron $$$$$, whatever the F they do no questions to be asked. Most of the today's managers are from various consulting companies and even today they favor their consulting companies and want give the projects to them and the poor employees are struggling and need to listen to your useless Sh*t comments from a lazy idiot and stupid like you 136410, thats the fate of cameron. who said employees are lazy? Identify the right managers and right team and give equal opportunities then we can argue my dear lazy friend 136410
You guys are f***ing retarded. Do you even think about what you're posting BEFORE you post?
70% to a consultant workforce?!? Yeah right. Never. There has been no mention of outsourcing ANYONE'S job in IT. The reason for any reductions would be because there are too many f***ing people trying to do the same job.
For those that need a diagram... we have 3 leads for each function. 1 for sustain, 1 for "transform" and 1 for Optimus. Each lead having people working for them. All with various demands coming to them, all stepping over each other to get work done. This is where the overhead is. This is what needs to be fixed.
Cameron is a relationship-driven, family-oriented, customer focused organization. IT is a customer-based organization (the Cameron business is your customer). You don't build relationships with the business by sticking an IT consultant in.
Chill the f out. If you're so worried about getting fired, why don't you make yourself useful and stop being so fing lazy.
70% IT Employees gone, left over is 30% HIGH PAID, 4 day workers will stay, excellent strategy. Cameron always favors consultants, employees doctor visit take a sick leave for that day, consultants dr visit work from home that whole week, consultants -monday they arrive at 11 am thrusday they are gone at 5, employees monday to friday 8 to 5, what a stupid policy cameron hr follows, shame shame puppu shame
What they do in org change? if 70% is going to delo...then why the hell org change is required!!!!
but for sure I heard many changes are coming soon and big people are looking for RIF, few inches away for them to pull the trigger
