Thread regarding Zenith Education Group layoffs

Here is the proof that Thornton call center is closing!

In an article from the Denver Business Journal, May 11, 2015, Zenith unwittingly let the cat out of the bag. Here is the article: http://www.bizjournals.com/denver/news/2015/05/11/zenith-education-group-lays-off-131-people-at.html. It says, "We had a reduction in the student population and we are merging some call centers to the one located in Tampa," said Zenith spokesperson Krissy Humenesky." Is the student population growing?? Is Tampa hiring and training marketing agents?? Does anyone need anymore proof than that?? Get your resumes out Thornton employees! Don't be caught by surprise in a couple of weeks.

Thornton management doesn't need to tell people they are going to lose their jobs so that they can find other employment. Everyone who works for Zenith is a free agent. There is no contract between the employees and Zenith. Get your resumes out now! Thornton call center is closing!!!!!!!!

008 Makes sense in most respects. One point of clarification - Colorado Springs (EUO) was folded into Tampa last February. I believe that Thornton supports a different part of the system.

Your logic is wrong. If they consolidated Colorado and other services to Tampa why is Colorado still open? Why are they hiring and training marketing reps in Tampa and not Colorado? The functions that Thornton provide are essential, but the location is not. It does mention that they are, "merging some call centers to the one location in Tampa". Why is half the call center in Thornton empty with the lights turned off and no one being hired to fill the empty desks? Zenith is paying rent on a facility that is less than half full - that is a fact!!!! Do you think that Zenith is so stupid that they are going to continue to waste money on square footage that is not making them any revenue?

The answer to these questions is Zenith only needs Thornton open until Tampa is ready to take over. FACT!!!!

They consolidated Colorado and other services to Tampa already. That is an old article read the date. Again stop spreading rumors. Atleast share news thats factual. Yes Zenith did move financial service to Tampa but Thorton is essential. So if you are going to site an article make sure it says what you claim it says, it does not mention we are closing Thorton Center down.
