Passaic, NJ - 32 EMTs and their Supervisors have been laid off by the corrupt and incompetent weasels that run the City.
Citing financial reasons, with numbers made up by their head coward and absent leader, Richard Diaz, their new and worthless job and title killer who plays public Safety Director. In essence, he was hired at just under $70,000 to be the boss of multiple departments that ALREADY have bosses and leaders entrusted in the role. Due to their inability to treat their employees with respect and work well with subordinates, had them go and hire this total eff-up to come and be their puppet, for those he lies in bed with...the Business Administrator, Rick Fernandez, the inept mayor Blanco and the worthless top-heavy Police force who sit their and stay quiet so they aren't targeted. Blanco will loose the election for this one decision alone. Any smart incumbent would immediately rid them selves of this bully-wannabe Dick-D'asz and then rebuild it's emergency services...which always has generated it's own revenues and even profits in time.
As for the hard working EMS, they never even received a thank you, and during a visit to spec the building they will be leaving behind to the police department on Wednesday August 12th, 2015, and not one administrator of the police dept or the business administration said hello to any employees, except the Purchasing Director and the Engineer. This unprofessional and cowardliness behavior is a sign that indeed this was no financial decision and instead personal reasons as the cause for dismissal.
They plan to lay-off their civilian dispatchers as well, and replace them with additional police officers at triple their pay rate and more likely they end up dispatching at overtime rate which is 1.5% their already triple salary...LMAO
These two departments happen to be the ONLY 2 departments that submitted legitimate, verifiable health violations that were ordered fixed by PEOSH. Retaliate much Passaic?
