A rumor is that some corporate divisions will get their budgets nearly halved. For example, employee-focused groups like staffing and learning. If you are not hiring in the US anymore, there's no point maintaining such a large group that is so US focused.

argh, like anyone knows what the incompetent deciders will do. SM has run Q into the ground and death spiral will only cease, if then, once SM is gone.
As for % per dept, i bet they gut entire departments where duplicated elsewhere and then load up the remaining 85%
My department everyone has been busting their butts for years, there is no "down time" between projects. Project leads are always screaming for more people. Schedule pressure is ever present. Guess I will find out if that matters or not.
