Thread regarding Cameron International Corp. layoffs

Cameron needs IT. Not an option.

This company is too big to let individual business units purchase a bunch of software packages that do the same thing or don't meet security standards or don't integrate with current systems. But that's what they're trying to do. Then they shit on IT when we don't let them.

Who cares if we have standardized processes if we don't have any orders?! That's the brightest point you could make?

So why don't you and your business buddies stick to getting orders!!! Leave fixing IT to people who make more money than you.

I'd say we should throw parties and buy dinners with your paycheck but I'm not an ignorant, cock swallowing sack of shit. But I'm pretty sure your mother was; just ask your uncle to be sure though.

Speaking of cancerous mentality, you think outsourcing is really going to solve anything? Yeah you're brilliant. "Hey Gomer, let's get rid of anything we don't understand and replace it with the first thing that comes to our pea brains." If IT needs the business so much, why is it the business that’s complaining about IT so much? They obviously need IT to get shit done. There’s too many untrainable, old, fat shits in the business who can’t make the change to new technology or processes. Get rid of dead weight like this and start bringing in people that create/follow good processes, that know how to work with IT and at the very least try to understand IT processes.

I’m not saying IT is perfect by any means, but it sure is funny how all these bitches point the finger at IT when times get tough. Why is the business not streamlined enough to be efficient across divisions? Why isn’t the business diversified enough to get us through hard times? I don’t need to ask a whole lot of questions. Wall street isn’t asking IT shit. You’re the business….now go make me some money bitches.

Our IT group is useless, maybe we can outsource to Deloitte, bulldoze all the lazy ignorant fat assholes, then hire a handful of bright people who care/ are motivated to run circles around you. Enjoy unemployment. be sure to put "Ignored shallow and stupid business guy because IT is more important than the business or the guy who was frustrated with the shitty ass systems came off as a prick " on your lackluster resume. I would rather they used your paycheck on parties or dinners, what a useless asshole.

The business keeps IT employed? You dumb f***! There is no business without IT. Unless you wanna go back to using an abacus and writing on leather skins with berry juice you dip shit. Doesn't matter who's running IT. You thing Delo is going to be some kind of savior? Bitch please! They're the same ones that have been making millions off of the Optimus train. That turned out great, right? You're all a bunch of whiny little bitches that cry when shit doesn't go your way. Even if they did let a bunch of IT people go, you're gonna deal with the same shit from Deloitte. But they'll making more money off of you idiots.

And it takes months to get anything done for you fs because you can't make up your minds and half of you don't even know your own processes. Don't even get me started on One Cameron, that's another issue. You complain you don't get help from us. But we're trying to standardize across all of Cameron, not just your division. It's a little more complex than that. So if we don't answer you for a long time, it's because you're request is too stupid and shallow to actually spend time on; or maybe you were acting like an asshole and we just said "f this prick for being a prick!" Who knows, either way you'll end up in the same situation with Deloitte because it's the business that needs to change the way they approach IT projects and what is actually appropriate for Cameron as a whole, not just your division. Lastly, suck it.

Amen! Takes months (if ever) to get a response from any of those lazy pricks. Any ops guy would be fired for being as useless as our IT group. Good riddance. Dont look for help/ support from the business, we have gone too many years not getting any help from IT!!!
