Yes some years back gmcr requested that Kerurig design a Brewer where the k cup would be totally recycled
and they did just that. the Vue
Though it had its mechanical issues like other designs it would have been the best brewer to own
Along came a new President and the Vue was immediately obsoleted
Of course there's more to the story but in my opinion i enjoyed the recycling aspect as many folks are so conscious of these days
For this reason alone Many of my friends have stopped using their Keurig Brewers or are buying competitor cups due to cost
A great company to work for I was there for some very exciting times but when I heard about the K2 generation I was not happy to learn Customers who purchased these brewers were forced to lock in
This was not that same Keurig I knew and came to love
I was proud of our home brewers but not now
Perhaps it's just greed that came to town? Our Customers were always the heart of our company
But the greed.....Isn't that what puts companies out of business?
I hope there are no more lay offs people need their jobs
