I'm hearing constant rumours that Thornton will get 60 days notice this month and it will move to Tampa. Does anyone know what's really going on?

One of the two managers that were left in Thornton AND the HR Manager left Zenith yesterday. Get your resumes out. Thornton is going down at the end of the month. No severance "packages" will be offered. Unemployment is around the corner for those that are not paying attention to what is going on.
Hey 722, you are one pathetic loser! The only losers are going to be the ones that stick around because they love their job here at Zenith. You are looking at the situation here with rose colored glasses. Zenith is in a free fall to failure. All the smart employees are getting their resumes out and finding a better job to support themselves and their families. All people like you do is support the crooks that are running the show. When you are laid off they are not going to give a rat's ass how much you loved your job.
@722. You have no clue what this site is about???? At the very top of the website it says, " Post information you know, rumors you heard, your experiences, or contribute to the discussion by answering or asking about layoffs at Zenith Education Group." It clearly is a site for RUMORS. Please crawl back into your HR cubicle and begin preparing the termination paperwork for the people at Thronton. Secondly, lots of people have loved their job at CCI/Zenith and are no longer employed because they were LAID OFF!! This site offers a wonderful way to express their frustrations. Better than looking you up and killing you with a gun, don't you think????
@OP: Listen, why create unease with others because you are? If you feel the house is metaphorically burning while others do not, why spread your vision onto others. Allow people to feel what they feel and think how they think. Some people actually love their job, 2nd this site is a layoff site, not a rumor mill for frustrated employees. If you were laid off, why do you care about current company business?

Thornton is gone at the end of August. Get your resumes out now. It's all part of the ECMC shutdown/teachout plan. They do not want anything that doesn't have a positive revenue flow. Thornton is too small now to justify the expense. Socle is gone. WyoTech is gone. QA is going. Marketing is next.
722 is very uninformed and probably a Zenith HR stooge. I am well aware of the situation - you will have to trust me on this. The center in Thornton is on the chopping block. Currently, it is only half full and legal is working on getting out of the lease commitment. One whole section of the facility is totally empty. Everyone there has been told there is a hiring freeze to keep suspicions like this from starting. However, the reality is that once Tampa has obtained enough people to handle the current call volume, all of the employees in Thornton will be given their walking papers. Zenith never had any plans to keep Thornton open long term. Transition to Tampa was the plan. Look at the history of how Tampa has increased in size while Thornton is shrinking. When Colorado Springs closed most of the positions that opened for transfer were in Tampa, not Thornton. A small number of employees were placed in Thornton working for Socle. Ask yourself - where are these employee now? GONE!!
Its staying here in Thornton. I am 100% certain.
I don't know anything about them closing down the other site, but yes, they are in fact training people in Tampa right now for that position.
