Upstream Americas is in deep trouble...Alaska will be the final nail. I'm out, I asked for a severance package. A guy on my former team didn't get mapped in the new org after making a 1.1 IPF last year because he won't kiss anyone's ass while a bunch of low performers that are highly connected have their jobs. Sad.

Has anyone received their severance yet? Was told it would be a month from August 31st. I need it before then.
Anonymous130296 this is not correct. I was offered a severance and I declined. Others are not given the option.
I took the package!!! I'm out!!! Shell gave me a fair lump sum and allowed me to cash out vacation (over 100 hours). The bad part is that you can't go back... EVER. Oh well, good for me.
The package is for those who voluntary opt to leave to leave the company rather than getting laid off. i believe it was offered to a select group
