Thread regarding Education Management Corporation layoffs

Wouldn't this be the week that the reach out campuses give 60 day notices before October start?

Any updates on when notices will be given.

To prevent a pre-mature mass exodus. It happens with big business all the time and it's all about maintaining control of the Spin.

If you are working at EDMC you should learn what this means. It means the closure of your institution after existing students have finishedd their classes. No new enrolments.

5 full time faculty given notices last week at AiOHC. As the student body goes down, so will faculty and staff. The irritating things to me is they know what order people will go based on SSB. So why not just tell us all the order?

Campuses that are teaching out will be giving 60 day termination notices to people as the SSB drops.

Would someone explain what is meant by "teach out notices"? I work at a campus that was not closed.
