Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Weak manager

If you have weak manager, and more often than not you are constant in a particular group and mangers are moved in and out. Unless one is a kiss ass type, the new manager now you are reporting to may not strongly represent your accomplishments despite your clients being very happy with your work and support. New manager may not take time to recognize your contribution etc. Intel focal you get Successful and grant you SSL4/5 just meet their % and now they put you in the trap. Then by next focal you have another new manager and again you get the same rating, not because of your performance really but by the perception of the powers that be. Now when time comes for head count reduction, Intel uses this a justification for poor performance and your are axed. I think all those impacted in this round may have a good cause of action against Intel under variety of theories like age discrimination, hostile work environment, wrongful discrimination etc. Before Intel can fire one, they should have tried to address any performance issue that they claim now, if they did not do that and instead use performance as reason to lay you off, you may want to consider the option of legal action, may be you get one contingency basis. people interested should post here and we can form a group and seek legal help

They have a contact form on their website. Wouldn't hurt for somebody to take charge and contact this law firm. Contact Form says: We will review your case without charge or obligation. Please describe your situation and whether other employees at your company were similarly affected by the alleged illegal conduct.

This rating system is biased against older people who can't do insertion but can satisfy in other ways.

You do not understand the Intel Focal rankings regarding sex: O=Orgasm, EE=Exceeds Ecstacy, S=Satisfied (but many confuses this with male orgasm, which is nearly 100%), IR=Insertion Required (if not already achieved, you are already out if here)

Well, yes, she did give me ssl4 twice, but I thought it indicates good performance because she seemed to have ogasm and satisfied every time we had sex. Perhaps she was faking?

You are spot on. Between 2014 and 2015, I had 4 managers followed by ISP. Two Indians and two Americano's managers. The Indian one is the one that lied alot.

I'm looking for a divorce lawyer. Can someone recommend one here? My wife filed for divorce claiming I've been less than a perfect husband in the last few years. Yet she never outlined areas for improvement for me to avoid this divorce. I think she simply wants to leave me for a younger man. This is clearly age discrimination.

Any recommendations for good immigration lawyers? I am on H1B visa, recently laid off and do not want to be forced to go home. I know these white engr bastards won't qualify for these jobs, so I know I can find a job in a few months.

Anon 129538 Why??? I'd suggest that you just let it go and quit commenting on this. This law firm may be helpful to people who were impacted in this last Intel layoff.

I'd suggest that Lieff Cabraser calls the owner of this site and openly advertise here instead of posting messages like this

Anon 129438 - You are exactly right. Intel has a ton of weak managers. And they do move them in and out frequently. My husband has been in the same group for 6 years now and is currently on his 9th manager. How can there be any continuity with that kind of upheaval? Out of those 9 managers, only 1 was a good manager. Unfortunately, after 11 months as his manager, he got promoted to another job site.
