Noble is 10 times better of a company than Rosetta could ever become. I am sure my journey as a Noble employee will not be without its ups and downs. But, I am so glad that this buyout happened. I finally feel that I work for a corporation that is in capable hands. I know longer have to worry about what the management above me does on a whim that may put the whole company in jeopardy. It is a relief to just have to worry about my own job.

You'll change your tune. From the fire to frying pan.
Don't confuse fancy buildings and institutional bureaucracy for capable hands. It will take some time for you to see past the bluster and learn first hand that Noble is all about acting on a whim. Case in point is the Rosetta acquisition itself. A company on the edge saved by the white knight. Except now it's Noble on the hook for an additional $1.8B in debt in a falling oil market. Use the time you gained wisely, you'll need to.
a C- was better than an F, if an A company could buyout Noble we would all be ahead
Sounds like Rosetta was a REALLY lousy company. Noble is just lousy company. If Rosetta was an "F" company... Noble is probably a C- to D+ company.
