Do you know if any layoffs are planned for Whirlpool Evansville in 2015 and 2016? There was a big round of cuts a few years back, not sure when exactely, but it was I think something like 500 was let go, terminated and flagged redundant. I am not even sure if Whirlpool continues to operate at that location - I worked there in early 2000s and I still have some folks that I know there.

The Whirlpool location in Evansville, Indiana was closed and sold.
