When we were going through all of this crap with CCI these threads were much more active. Now I believe that most people have given up thinking that Zenith was going to be the savior of the company. I think most people don't care anymore. They're tired of the "corporate speak" that better days are ahead of us. CCI was a scam and now Zenith has proven that they are "milking" the system as well. Let's all get our resumes out for better jobs while Zenith pays our bills.

Online will continue to operate but at a reduction in staff and programs. Student enrollment will determine staffing on an as-needed basis. Adjunct instructors are not a huge overhead like full time employees are. Also, placement rates and retention levels will continue to be evaluated for all online programs. Hope this helps answer your question.
052- I believe what you are saying to be correct and in line with the information I've heard. You don't mention Online though. Any thoughts?
724: WHO do you consider has been let go related to bad management??!! From my point of view ALL the bad manager rats are still on the Zenith ship and even worse Sam Lynn brings his old and new rat friends with them!
They got rid of the bad management and let go of the excellent faculty, like me. I worked hard and closely with my students. Tona Stravedes is at fault and is a doctor of stupidity.
The fight in people is dead and now complacency has crept in because the promises made have not materialized. Morale is quickly raised with pep talks but when enough time passes "the fight" in people dies. Whn results don't happen then complacency creeps back in. I think a lot of people are killing time and collecting a paycheck until the next RIF or action is forced upon them
The sooner they close this crap the better.
I agree with the OP. When we were CCI there was so much more anger in these forums. Now there is alot less postings and the postings themselves are much much more insightful and express a sense of "I've given up thinking this thing will turn around." My resume is out and I'm ready for a job I can be proud of.
777 - Are you proud to work for Zenith?
The six month evaluation of the schools has been completed. The list of program drops, school closings and campus consolidation plans should be completed by late September. The plan has always been to keep only the better performing schools open beyond 2015. Some campuses will go into teach-out, some will be consolidated into other campuses offering the same programs and a few will close without going into a teach-out and offer a refund or relocation to the students that are left. This is the reason the DOE took millions from the sale to help cover the cost of student loan forgiveness for the students that will be displaced by the closings. There never was a plan to keep all 56 schools open and operating. Hawn knew from the very beginning it would be impossible to keep them all open, that is also why part of the 24 million was put aside by CCi in an account free and clear of the bankruptcy to cover the costs of closing schools. There will be another smaller RIF coming somewhere between late August through September and the big one will hit around Christmas. I haven't seen the list, but the talk I've been hearing is 30 to 35 schools to remain open.
I am shocked it is bad. I mean they got rid of all the bad management when Zenith took over. No wait……...
The better teach out days are ahead.
OP - Better days ARE ahead. At some point you will exit Zenith and to work for a better company.....one you can hopefully be proud of.
It's a lot easier finding a new job while you're still employed. Believe me, I had more job offers while I was still working than after I was let go. If you are feeling insecure about your job, now is the time to look for a new job. If Zenith makes it at all it will be much smaller than it is now. In either case there will be a lot less employees if any within a year. I just read an article today about CCi's bankruptcy and part of the 24m is being held in escrow incase Zenith has problems with the schools. To date Zenith has taken 2 million out of that account and is expected to use more until it runs out. That proves Hawn had doubts about the future of Zenith and by already dipping into the cash Zenith is in trouble.
