It's depressing that we as lowly employees understand more of what's going on than the people making the decisions. On the last round of layoffs they let go almost everyone who understood a certain process (pre-cert) and now there are thousands of students back logged a few weeks because there aren't enough people to do the process. It's clear that nothing will humble them but that seems like an enormous mistake that would shake them up a bit.... But more bad decisions to cover previous bad decisions...

I agree they are treating the students like crap at teach out campuses to get them to quit and go away.
I'm shocked that other people are noticing the effects, here it's just business as usual as if nothing happened. Even more interesting is how someone copied my comment from another thread to start this one. Bless you for helping to call out the bullshit
I wish I could like this thread a million times. Students are becoming irate over their funding and turn around time is 3+weeks. Not to mention whoever IS reviewing the files does it incorrectly and it has to be sent back to redo the cycle. Smart move, EDMC. Not sure where you were going with all of this but it is HORRIBLE.
They want students to drop out so they don't have to spend the $$ to teach out.
Think of it! Thousands of back logged students just waiting to be victimized. Lloyd Blankfein would be proud of you. May karma follow you all the days of your felonious life.
Even the Bible speaks of the folly of trying to talk to fools.
