More layoffs across all BUs - happened Tuesday and Wednesday. Heard this time upper management was hit hard. China office was closed. Lots of products cut. Nothing in the news about this and nothing said in the quarterly report. Last time CA gave the employees being cut a couple months notice. This time people were thrown into the streets that same day.

Only the big layoffs are publicized. Sometimes you don't even hear about surgical cuts from inside the company. Occasionally. you'll see your colleague from another Dept drop off instant messenger and you know sudden death has occurred somewhere in CA. Nice surprise.
CA just had a new round of layoffs. Though there is absolutely nothing in the news about it, a current surviving employee indicated it was fifteen percent across the company.
