This is the largest and most positive layoff I've ever been a part of. Scarily, those at the top aren't the only ones who appear genuinely enthusiast. There were people applauding?! Absolutely unbelievable.

Yes, the AH was surreal. I'm glad PJ showed up, though, but that just proved my suspicion that we are in a real deep, neck high shit now.

I remember the numb feeling that you get after weeks of attending going away parties for coworkers who get layer off week after week. You are right it is horrible!
I'm assuming a lot of these high-fiving bobbleheads haven't been through a layoff before. You guys do know how these work right? THEY'RE TERRIBLE. Zero mention of cutting the top heavy middle/upper management. ZERO.
They won't be applauding when their unemployment runs out.
