We had a layoff in Jan, they have cut too much, now we have been acquired by Pfizer more money are coming. Look, there is no guaranty, beggars are not choosers! Take a chance with Pfizer/Hospira or stay on unemployment... simple.
The job is not hard, C/C++ bug fixes, and small features to add on an infusion pump. The product is here to stay for at least 10 more years. It is very regulated by FDA and DHS, but what is not in these days.
So it says that you are laying or may be laying people off too - is there any truth in int? Tell us a bit more about the company.
