QCT is where QCOM stuck a lot of their really talented engineers over the past 3 or so years, hoping that, despite the fact that they seemed to be phasing out R&D or anything remotely cutting edge, that these guys would hang around and do testing (--or Windows "crapware"--) until QCOM got off their collective @$$3$ and decided they needed something new. Unfortunately, QCOM never quite understood that REAL engineers don't "do" Windows. For companies that already have all the third world tech-slaves they need, this could be a good acquisition. Of course if they don't act quickly and take pains to see that these engineers stick around, they will defect to other companies as quickly as they can relocate.
