Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

So google called me to schedule a technical interview phone screen. I think I'm going to outsource answering the phone screen questions

I think for maybe $100, I can find 20 folks from Bangalore that do the actual interview puzzle questions for me during the phone screen. Why should I limit myself to solving these interview questions in O(n^2) worst case just myself, when I can use 20+ people from Bangalore and achieve results in O(n log n) worst case?

he he he.

I hate outsourcing.

Only Companies benefit - local/native population fail due to outsourcing terribly.

If you could effectively leverage those resources during a phone interview to answer the questions given, I'd hire you.

Unfortunately, once word gets out that answering trivia questions about Big O notation is all that's needed to land a job at GOOG,

you'll have the Bangalore crowd responding to them directly and cutting you out of the action. Never mind they can't do anything but

respond to rote. Once a few get in, that will be the criteria for bringing in more of the same.
