Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

This site became more like discussion form rather than layoff news

I have checked couple of other companies profile on this site and I found the post comes every 2/3 months or so. While in Qualcomm profile, jeezaloo... People are just posting any thing other than any layoff activity every 2-3 hours. Good for this site owner.....

Looks like people in Qualcomm don't have much work. Is it? Qualcomm is supposed to be one of the best companies to work for (at least till 2014). It seems like, company got bunch of losers... Too bad. God bless Qualcomm

If Qualnet had a site like this, most of us probably would have been fired by now. On the other hand, if SM, Murthy, and a few others on the Board had been following this site since last November, SM never would have gotten that retention bonus!

Yes, this is now the official Qualcomm employee forum. there is no other substitute; if there were anything like this on Qualnet, all of the posts would be removed for their brutal honesty

It think it is good to have a discussion forum. I don't think there is a equivalent forum, is there? If you ignore the filth (70% of the posts), there has been some very useful information posted over the past few months.

@110075: Perfect example of loser... Try at walmart, you will get decent value for your talent. :-)

@110075 – If you play your cards right, you will get a severance package. Can’t beat that.

Same here...as part of the QCA acquisition, I received ~$120K worth (at time of grant, vesting over 3 yrs) of RSUs as part of a retention package and have essentially been in a rest and vest mode. I handle issues whenever there are escalations, but that's it. Now that all my shares (including ones recived while at athr) have vested, I have been using my spare time posting on this board and looking for my next job. It'll be even better if I'm paid to leave, and i hope it happens

That's what happens when you buy a lot of worthless companies. I just want to vest. Why work?
