If the franchisees on the front line think things are going to suck...They're probably going to suck. Less money in the field means less money for Corp.

its already started...lots of HR layoffs for admins, etc......last week.....and there is another round coming soon......

Only the highest levels would know that, but history indicates that MCD isn't afraid to outsource to save a couple of bucks on the front end. Just look at the ACS/Xerox deal. That didn't save any money (in the long run). But I'm sure it looked great the first year or 2. Since the Execs can't increase same store sales, they have to cut costs.

Is US Shared Services being outsourced for sure or are they looking at pricing/bids for outsourcing and haven't made a decision yet?

They're coming. Every department has cuts and I've heard the names of about a half dozen folks I worked with as being let go. The US Shared Service Center is being outsourced, so all of those folks will be hosed by year end.
