And Romania is absolutely useless and incompetent. But VERY quick to complain about YOU, if you tell them as much.

So follow the Cameron and OneSubsea motto: Shut the f*ck up, comply and you'll keep your job. Speak the truth, speak your mind and you out. Be a moron, you stay. Know what you are doing and stand up for it: you are out.

I am an employee at the LeT Houston-Brittmoore facilty and have heard a rumor about our Offshore being sold to Keppel in Singapore. So I guess it really is true!!! No wonder upper management isn't interested in bringing certain improvement projects to this facility. I know the signs have been there. Several product lines will be dry by Fall. And we just had another big round of layoffs this past week. When will that be announced???

Is it just letourneau? I don't see the entire division of drilling being acquired.

They are selling Houston drilling offshore to Keppel in Singapore. That is Longview, Houston and Vicksburg employees. That's a fact. Some employees will go with Keppel and the rest to the house. Now has anyone seen any VPs, Directors, or managers in the layoff mix? They caused this cluster and they are still getting their 30% plus bonuses.

Process Systems Engineering is killing the whole division. Yet they seem to"know they have issues" for the last 4 years.Management would rather pay for cheap labor than experienced labor. Have fun transferring everything to India, and meeting the quality standards needed these days. Going to end up putting a lot of great workers out of work to save a buck. End up killing an end user with the quality of work from engineering. Have fun paying off lawsuits and looking families in the courtroom with all the lawsuits heading you way.

I'd expect this will hit the process group in Houston as well. Considering they just shut their Calgary 100,000 sq/ft manufacturing facility & engineering office yesterday.
