Why is this travesty allowed to go on?
Why are the executives allow to continue to make millions of dollars per year without any consequences?
Why do we still have students with thousands of dollars in loans from this travesty?
Why do we as taxpayers allow this to go on?
Why do we have homeless people, why do we let someone pay $10,000 a year for medical insurance, why did Mitt Romney offshore tens of thousands of jobs and still not get boo'd offstage when he announced he wanted to run for president? This country is screwed up 12 ways from Sunday and this is just one of many ways money has perverted common sense. Prior to 1998, even if students got saddled with these inflated loans they could still file bankruptcy at least. Thanks to republicans and lobbyists, that is no longer an option and former students are the only ones paying any penalty for the greed and fraud of the company.
