No one sees "jail time" from fraud charges from the SEC. SEC is a REGULATORY agency that can issue CIVIL penalties only. If you want these crooks to go to prison it'll have to be from a criminal case from a law enforcement agency like FBI.
I strongly believe that the government must put these crooks in jail. This will serve as a warning to the rest of the crooks who run companies like this one.
Dan, you are a prophet. who is next to collapse?

Jail time for all current executives is very appropriate. In addition, they need to pay stiff penalties enough to take all of their cash and other personal assets. They need to start living the lives of their students and employees to get a good taste of their own medicine.

I wonder what this means for the company going forward, or in this case, down.
Since the suit asks for relief in the form of banning Modany and Fitz from serving in leadership positions of publicly traded companies ever again, and repaying bonuses and financial incentives, I'd say no one is going to jail. They're being sued for securities fraud, not sent to prison.
