Tiny Tim is that you?
Tim, let someone else reply.
994, yes the campus was a mess for years, however most programs are short term programs where new students cycle in every 9 months. The fact that they were as bad as the previous graduates in terms of quality and placement rates tell me Tim and his staff was as bad as the previous management. They did not fix a thing.
997, you are not stating anything that is quantifiable. What are the changes that they made that produced quantifiable results?
Love these posts. Terri and Tims fault cause they did not come from education. Yep, we were all doing a great job with our years of education experience. Students dropped left and right, poor hiring, laszy directors, crap employess, sit in an office, poor audits, unqualified teachers, no standards, no placement. I think they changed quite a bit. Not perfect but better.
This region was a mess for years. Years people. You can blame whomever you want, but you should start by looking in the mirror. By the way i am a prior employee from Merrillville that was let go months ago.
Terri and Tim were a joke. I bet it is TD himself posting the positive comments on this thread. 234 was blunt, but absolutely correct. The supporters should state who they are, not real names but position and campus or I will just assume this is Tim just trying to save his tarnished reputation.
How many years of highered experience did Terry and tim have before becoming CP? ZERO! How many years did they work as CP before becoming RVP? Best Buy strategies does not work in education. They may have stepped in a sinking ship but they didn't do anything to help the region in any way. I challenge anyone that disagree to name one quantifiable change they made that's not from corporate to help keep everest afloat. Audit scores do not count because CCi lowered the standards so a donkey could get a 1.5 score. Terry was smart enough to realize that everest was a sinking ship and moved on to the next soon to be titanic
Dauber was a good RVP and he did the best he could in a messed up situation. He and the CPs are still trying to help others find jobs.
Some really cold people here. Calling people useless and poor leaders. Had they not have joined this region, it would have been shut down long ago. It was a big mess before TH, TD, HM and all the other CPs that joined in the last few years. Sorry to tell you, they fixed the region. You have no one to blame but yourself. You were the tenured employees that created the mess. Quit blaming others for your failure. That is why you are in this boat. You got paid to basically due nothing these last 6 months. Also, no one ever promised anyone anything. You all new the risk and the complications that came with staying.
You where always teach outs and yes, Dauber, Stigshit, Hawn and Lanouette lied to you every day. And still do. Everyday! All any of them are concerned about is themselves. Their salaries and that it!
Was Dauber really the best leader in the region? If so... we should be shut down!
Best buy openings?
997 every campus had to submit a teach out plan when they bought the campus.
Mine has texted me several times, including him actually trying to find me another opportunity. He called people he has worked with in the past and they have already called me to set up an interview. Several of my peers who were fired have also been contacted by him.
I'm pretty sure 029 is Lynette Hodges, who was as useless as any employee ever employed by Zenith. You were a horrendous leader that embarrassed yourself daily. Bon voyage you miserable, ineffective leader.
Unfortunately there will be no Chicago campuses that survive. And the miscommunication on being able to enroll again was from Lanouette. This and many other missteps led to his demise, which everyone agrees was the right decision. And as far as the one poster's feelings about the RVPO, CPs and/or Directors , that has not been my experience. I believe there was a talented group of leaders that tried their best to lead through a very difficult time.
I am still under the impression that Melrose Park and Skokie would survive the teach out.
All Tim ever did was bury his rat face in a laptop in some other useless Director's office. All 5 President's did the very same. Remember "Regional Training" at Melrose Park? What a friggin sham! Has anyone since being laid-off received so much as a phone call, email or text from their passionate President, Director or Chair? Didn't think so! I wonder how their "A Cards" would read?
Bye Bye Tim!
After 4 months a bomb was dropped? 4 months prior to that we all received a conference call with every President and Director applauding us and telling us that we have been "Approved" to begin re-enrolling. Not that it is "Under Review"!? Only 4 months later to be told, "Oops! Sorry! They just now are reviewing our request and we most likely will not have an answer for another 6 months"! Go on the www.zenith.org website, go under "about us" and look how all 5 Chicago schools were slated for teach -out from the beginning. All 5 have been on teach-out since the purchase. BULLSHIT!!!
953, does that mean it is not official that they are closing?
915, all of us worked so hard to save this region. It wasn't just Skokie who believed it would all work out. Much of the messaging from the state was that the change of ownership application was being reviewed but then after 4 months, they dropped the bombshell that they hadn't even started reviewing it.
At least you are getting the Obama Foundation there. All is not lost...
Skokie President, Directors and Chairs would do everything they could to have you believe otherwise.
All Chicago is gone.
All of them and that's the eventual answer for all of zenith :)
