Gosh 216, if you worked at QMT for 7+ years, sounds like you are part of the problem, not part of the solution.
Hopefully you were cut and didn't take your lack of ability to produce a worthwhile product to some other department.

101092 - Your full of Shit and trying to rouse up the troops. GTFO!
S&M at the top and S&M at the bottom. Sounds fair.
S&M ALL OVER THE Q! YEAH!
Suggestion: hire ex-Charger or ex-Clipper cheerleaders as PM’s. Their main career path after cheerleading seems to receptionist, and so, they will welcome PM opportunity. Their presence will be a big morale boost for the engineers. Everyone will look forward to weekly meetings. It get even better when PM’s start cracking the whips. Engineers will not want to go home. Sounds corny, but it absolutely works.
Can qualcomm at least hire hot babysitters so we (horny engineers) finally have a reason to attend the PM meetings? Please?
PMs are babysitters and they serve a purpose. Engineers rather design and solve problems and not deal with deadlines. So, management put these policemen in place and gave them power to watch over the kids that just want to play.
How about PMs? Why do we need so many damn PMs to run one small project?
Reduce the Sr Director/Director headcount!!!! Worthless fools doing nothing but attending meetings and collecting a paycheck.
SM's job could probably be done by a computer, as well. Then QCOM's Board of Dir. wouldn't have to promise him obscene retention bonuses. Savings could be passed to stockholders as dividends!
Especially with the new leader in HR..no thoughtfulness
HR can be automated.
HR can be outsourced too.
Well, there's always barber college and then a career at Supercuts.
All is well, nothing to see here, move along.
