Did the benefits continue throughout the month or suddenly cut off?

I would be interested in knowing who the Third party Administrator was for your health insurance. In other words, not the carrier but the administrator of the plan who you'd send your claims to.
COBRA cutoff on 04/30/15 too. Not unexpected given the downward spiral of it all.
Go to coveredCA on the web to research options, then call. After 90+ minutes on the phone, you and the family will be all set with government-subsidized medical insurance. Be sure to explain how shl++y Jack(m)A$$ did us near the end of April, so they'll make the effective coverage date retro to 5/1 vs 6/1.
Discontinued on April 30th. Had to scramble for alternatives
