Dear Zenith Employee;
Well, we have owned you for 3 months. We are not afraid to shut down campuses and RIF staff, and we have made remarkable progress on our main goals – retaining and enrolling students who cannot read or write. Thank you for continuing to deceive these students by promoting course forgiveness and the availability of additional loans. We know where that’s going and we appreciate it. Career Services is leveraging Craigslist to provide students with information about thousands of low paying jobs, which will allow them to pay down their loans. Now that we are done with Student Choice and the Spring closures/RIFs, we will launch the Appropriate Staffing Survey (ASS). ASS will determine how many of you we need and how many of you we want, and it will be conducted without regard for performance or contribution to student outcomes. The only silos that will exist are the ones we have ordered during the planning phase of ASS. I hope you will support ASS, which will provide inflated placement numbers to get the feds to give us another pASS. The ASSresults will be communicated in a manner that confuses you and adds an element of surprise to ASSrelated announcements. You can expect ASSdriven decisions regarding what we will and will not offer to students. The same ASSdata will be the basis for our new brand image and for grant awards related to the Campaign for Innovation. It is an honor to work alongside you during this ASSphase of Zenith’s newest chapter.
