Without adding in the students from ITT and UoP, even if they score anything it will be narrowly defined only for a handful of Corinthian students. They need to broaden the scope massively and without that they are going to sputter out.

141- The bigger issue is that millions of students CAN'T PAY, even if they wanted to the starting wages and general lack of entry level jobs for college graduates mean a lot of people got trapped with no way to pay and interest charges inflating the already massive amounts borrowed. At some point they will strongarm payments and at that point I lose all control of my life.
I wouldn't pay ITT one dollar. Their education is garbage and their leadership is a fraud. One advice for all who have loans of thousands upon thousands of dollars for schools like ITT, Everest. UoP and other crap like them. DON'T PAY THEM.
I fear with hundreds of billions at stake it will end up being the only answer.
@Anonymous98897 and Anonymous98916 and other students, future students, and concerned instructors. You don't have to go that far. Violence is not the answer. What you need to do is be part of the struggle--and be willing to struggle. As I mentioned, the ITT Tech Warriors are organizing and the resistance is growing. Write your story in myittexperience and join the ITT Tech Warriors Facebook group to start.
@Anonymous98897 - I feel the same, I'd rather die than pay back
It is still discouraging to see so little news or progress. The real problem is and always was the department of education, and short of the president or congress I don't see who else can give them the bitch slap they deserve and shut down their dual roles as a fox guarding the henhouse. They have almost a trillion dollar loan portfolio that probably needs to be slashed in half if not more to bring the debt in line with what the 'education' was really worth these last 10-20 years. The students like me on the hook for 200 grand are not going to pay, frankly I will end up killing myself before I let Sallie Mae and ITT Tech get their artificially created dollars back.
@Anonymous98872, more students, former students, and workers are organizing every day. The ITT Tech Warriors, for example, are gaining members every single day. The "Art Institutes Suck" is also a large group.
The conflict of interest at the department of education should be front and center. It is obvious maybe half of their 'loan portfolio' was bloated by fraud and should rightfully be discharged. If they take a $450 billion dollar cut that will certainly make the news.
