Why the inequity on severance? Some walked out of the building while so many received 10-12 months? You guys are so disgusting. Why didn't we all get that many months?

98634......you have no idea what your talking about. Tons of higher ups received 10-12 months of severance. I know because I'm one of them. I win and you lose. I'm now heading on well deserved vacation. See us suckers!

Well you know what you need to do - only way to hurt them is make it known how bad they were fudging the numbers and how unethical and illegal operations were. If enough people gave enough evidence they might be doing the perp walk. It is really the only way to stick it to them now.
98468------what you describe is for line staff/ hourly employees or entry level. The higher level supervisors got 10-12 months severance. As usual we get screwed.
OP what are you talking about? Everyone got 60 days notice of being let go. Some of the people are required to work some of that time and some were told that Wednesday was their last day to report to work. Either way everyone called in on Wednesday was told their official last day of employment will be June 28th. This is the 60 day notice required by the Warn Act dealing with mass layoffs and or company closings. On June 28 if you sign the release they will pay you a severance of what appears to be 2 weeks pay. I think you are confusing the 60 day notice with a severance package. Nothing done was illegal, just downright rotten how they did it. A severance package is not required by law, the 60 day notice is.
