We received an email about companywide RIFs happening today. Not really a surprise but is there any information about what areas were affected? Admissions still seems to be overstaffed given the level of enrollments- not that I am picking on them.

773, so there's no one left to enroll students. They stripped the campuses admission departments also. Sounds like Wyotech is going down very soon. What a shame because the automotive industry is hurting big time for technicians. Wyotech used to be the best automotive school in the country until Corinthian ruined it.

33% of staff at Blairsville Wyotech. Same as the rest, a lot of long time employees got axed. Rumor has it another big round coming in June to reduce the staff to 1/3 of what it was. My advice to the employees still left, don't pass up a good opportunity to get the hell out as soon as you can. This Zenith thing looks like nothing more than a huge scam put together by the government and ECMC to reduce the number of students down to a certain level then teach out.

43 or so at the Laramie Wyotech. LOTS of long-time staff and really good workers, big shock. Sadly, one of the people let go was me. :(

Some good folks went out today and will be sorely missed.
It seems to be around a thousand or so. I know the Zenith Wyotechs had large RIFS today. There was no rhyme or reason for the choice of staff let go. Looks like a teach out is coming soon. Just another scam by the Obama administration to close these schools. ECMC was contracted by the DOE to do the nasty work and wind the schools down. Another bunch of lying cheating ruthless bastards with no heart or sole. Money money money!!!!!
Is it only the people at the Brandon campus seem to realize that the Dean is racist? The higher ups can't see it.? Or who knows, maybe SL likes the dean wearing his white dress and hood while he sucks him off.
Number I've heard is around 1,000 company-wide from upper management (RVPOs) to baseline staff in every department on every campus.
Some PD's and some admissions reps were let go today. Funny how the PD's with the largest programs were let go and those with less than 20 in their program are able to stay. This ship is sinking fast and no one is safe. It sucks going to work from week to week not knowing whether or not you will have a job. You have a dean that is always threatening people and the biggest racist there is, yet he smiles in your face and talks negative about everyone behind their back. You have a regional person (SL) say he is the most worthless person in the region, yet he is still collecting his 150K paycheck. It is finally good to be away from all of the negative energy and the extortion of students. So many people have been scammed by this company, walking across the stage with a degree they did not earn but were given with falsified documents. How can you be happy for people that lie and cheat their way through school?
