Thread regarding Anadarko Petroleum Corp. layoffs

I was hoping they could live our core values because the explanation was WEAK based on how they are conducting business. Are our peers companies doing this to their staff?? That would be a NO. Did the 50+ officer/execs take their salary increases a few months ago?? That would be a YES! Just more to the point of the execs and their never ending greed. Now at the expense of the people that do the work! SO, Sell the hunting lodges! Sell a few planes for + $40 million! They could have cut back elsewhere to make sure employees get an adjustment for cost of living. AND now Eliminating VCP?? They sent a BIG message to us today and it wasn't a positive one. (They probably are hoping people quit so they can save severence cost when the do a layoff - which is probably coming next.)
