I had to deposit it. The teller told me the notes on her computer wouldn't allow her to "negotiation" the check.

There's money in the B of A account now, so deposit as normal.
The payroll check is from B of A. I just tried to cash it at the local B of A and they could not cash it. They could not tell me exactly why, but implied there was no available funds.
It's standard practice. Go to Wells Fargo where the check originated. No problems there. It would be the same situation from any company.
What does that meAn?
