Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Time to stop sobbing and get over it!

It's not like this JUST HAPPENED! We all have known for nearly a year that CCi was to be no more - we just were not sure when it would end. It isn't the Presidents fault or the Director or Department Chairs fault they didn't know when it was all ending either - If you really feel anger towards these people at the campus level because they didn't have any information to tell you, then your a bigger idiot than your friends think you are.

It's a job - you probably didn't have one when you got one you have now with Corinthians - we all just need to take care of ourselves and go get another job.

In the words of the great Chrissie Hynde - "It is time for you to stop all of your sobbin!"

661, the students were homeless when they were recruited. They only enrolled for a monthly check with no intensions of getting an education.

There are no winners out of any of this. Employees are losing their jobs and the students who were hoping to change their lives will have difficult decisions they have to make. The management team of CCI acted horribly throughout the process and look at the wreckage that has been caused from their greedy and unethical actions.

We knew this was coming, but still we all lost a paycheck. That's hard on our families.

It's not the HLC's fault. It's the fault of greed and lying.

Couldn't agree more. No one at campus level knows. We are all expecting the worse to happen tomorrow and prepared by take all our belongings home.
