My CP just told me that well over 400 of the "egregious" findings were due to someone putting in the wrong placement formula that we use for the past two years. Something about not writing out we don't include deferrals in the count. Who screwed that up??? It's still BS that so many findings were due to that human error.

Oh Puleez, OP! Give me a break! Will your CP not take any responsibility to the bitter end. 332, right, let's blame ONE person at CSC. This didn't start last year or the year before that. These abuses have been ongoing for years; they got busted already in 2007, got away with it due to AG Jerry Brown being bribed, promised to stop what they were doing, and immediately began doing the very same things again right after the settlement.
I'd say it's a bit like Al Capone getting busted for tax fraud: the DOE knows how rotten CCI has been and the bullshit we've pulled, but they got us on some technical issues and that's all they need. I do this to students at the end of every quarter, busting them on little details when I know they've cheated and I want to fail them so I don't have to see some piece-of-shit cheater pass.
I hear that it was one person at CSC in Santa Ana that was responsible for entering the information in the Gainful Employment web based portal. That person must feel like real sh*t right about now. We were explaining it right for the first few years then the last two were completely wrong. No one checked this? Shame
