Layed off from Allscripts less than a year of me being a permanent employee due to my manager being racist and having NO training on how to be a first time manager. When talking to Sr. Management about Lindas racial comments she thought were funny unfortunately that put me on "get rid of her" aka the layoff list. Hard work does not pay off at this company. Its ridiculous how many layoffs they have and how they continue to use layoffs as a quick resolution to any and every issue they have but then immediately make moves afterward that negate the reason or excuse they give as to why you were layed off. Once theyre out to get you youre got. Its a great company to use only as a stepping stone to bigger and better things cause after their done with you they barely hand you a rag.

Since the people mentioned, who were present while the comments were made, they cAn be classified as racist as well. They just do a better job of covering up. They have shown their true colors. There are many more current employees who have been fortunate enough to hold on to their jobs because they support racism.
Linda is a lazy arse. She should have been fired. And as far as her comments go? does anyone say stuff like that these days? Oh, yes, I guess, uneducated pigs say crap like that...
Yeah and this manager is also LAZY AS HELL.
I know that she told an African-American co-worker that she looked like "Aunt Jemima." She's made other racist comments in front of Jesse Tripp, Brian Moffett, Gary McGuire, and Wayne Brummet. H.R. is aware of at least one incident with her. Everyone is aware of her racist and inappropriate comments and no one there has done anything to stop her vile, uneducated mouth.
Sorry to hear this. You've been a victim of the REAL Allscripts. Good luck at the next job. Take heart that you've worked for the worst - it can only get better from here!!
